Terms & Conditions

1.Agreement

These terms govern your use of GenieTables, a product of AI Genie. By using the service you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

2.The service

GenieTables provides an AI receptionist that answers your telephone line together with a booking and table management system. The two form a single product.

3.Your telephone line

You keep your existing number and forward it to us. You confirm you are entitled to divert that number and to have calls to it answered and recorded on your behalf.

4.AI disclosure

Calls are answered by an AI assistant. We disclose this to callers at the start of every call, along with the fact that the call is recorded. You must not configure the service to conceal that a caller is speaking with an AI.

5.Acceptable use

You agree not to use GenieTables to:

• make unsolicited marketing calls or send unsolicited messages
• record calls unlawfully or without the disclosure we provide
• impersonate another business
• attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service

6.Data protection

You are the data controller for your guests’ personal data. We act as your processor. Our Data Processing Agreement forms part of these terms and sets out our obligations. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

7.Availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may carry out maintenance, and will give reasonable notice where it is planned and likely to affect you.

8.Accuracy of the AI

The AI is configured with the information you provide about your venue. It may occasionally misunderstand a caller. You remain responsible for reviewing bookings and for the operation of your venue. We do not warrant that every call will be handled without error.

9.Fees

Fees are as agreed with you in writing. There is no commission and no per-cover fee. Call charges levied by your own telephone provider remain yours.

10.Intellectual property

AI Genie owns the software and all associated intellectual property. You retain ownership of your own data, including your booking records and guest information.

11.Termination

Either party may end the agreement on reasonable notice. On termination you may export your booking data, and we will delete or return personal data in line with the Data Processing Agreement. You remove the call forward and your number returns to normal.

12.Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability in any twelve month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period.

13.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
